I really tried to come up with a serious concept to label this week and all I seem to come up with is …silly. It’s a silly week. Avoid getting all wrapped up in worthless shit talk and gossip because none of it will turn out to be true.
We start off with Moon in Sagittarius and a Mercury/Uranus sextile which just reeks of tall tales. Fun, innovative, and unusual stories, but not worth too much in the long run. It IS a good time to brainstorm, so if you need to expand your grey matter to its max capacity, go for it.
On Wednesday, a Capricorn Moon and Venus entering into Virgo and helps bring everyone back to earth and allows you to put some practical thought behind all the fluff and sort everything out. Complicated relationship issues will mellow for a bit and common sense can prevail. But only briefly as Venus opposes Jupiter and the Sun moves into Leo the next day, setting us up for more playful excess and …here’s that word again…silliness. Resist distractions if you have a lot to get done, this energy wants to have a good time.
And we end the week with a powerful Full Moon in Aquarius. The overall mood will be friendly but detached, and you’ll want to respect people’s space. Do your releasing ceremony around things like casting out all that impedes your freedom, situations that keep you from spreading your wings or expressing your authentic self, releasing anything that restricts your independence and behaviors that challenge your ability to work with others in a way that respects their unique expression. With Mercury trining Neptune on Saturday and Sunday’s Moon in Pisces, you’ll want to hit the beach, lake or whatever water soothes your soul and let everything melt away.
Aries (March 21-April 20) Your 11th house of friendships is lit with the Full Moon in Aquarius. So you’ll have plenty of invitations and if they don’t come in fast enough, you’ll do the inviting. Kayaking, biking, hiking-whatever keeps you active and leading a group of people will make you happiest now. Friends busy? You’ll burn off that energy cleaning your house and purging stuff you don’t like anymore.
Taurus (April 21-May 20) You’ll be craving a vacation or even a weekend getaway as this week unfolds with all of its nonsense. It’s not that things are bad, you’ll just have a lot to do at work and home as projects demand attention now- it may feel like you’re not settled either place. So this weekend, plan on exploring a place that you’ve never been to before-with your special someone if you have one. This could bring you two so much closer. Single? Go by yourself and talk to strangers.
Gemini (May 21-June 20) Exciting changes begin now as you’re privvy to information that helps you plan your next big career move. A conversation with someone you haven’t heard from in a while sets things in motion. There may be a learning curve with this next job so you’ll want to investigate furthering your education to be able to master this new position.
Cancer (June 21-July 22) Cancers will want to keep their energy clear this week with grounding practices and setting boundaries. While most of the week will be engaging and you’ll learn a lot, by the end of the week if you’re not careful and remember to pace yourself around others, you could be worn out. All that watery Pisces energy Saturday and Sunday is just perfect for time at the beach or just relaxing with a good book.
Leo (July 23-August 22) Pay close attention to your intuition this week as it’s spot on. Someone may try to smooth talk you into a project or partnership that may not be right for you. Just tell them you’ll think about it. Your magic comes in handy at work when you’re able to solve a perplexing issue and save the day.
Virgo (August 23-September 22) Venus makes another trip through your first house, setting you up for a period of confidence and romance. Single Virgos will want to keep an eye out for someone who may be spending a little more time engaging in small talk. Yeah, you hate that, but give this person a chance! Partnered Virgos can look forward to a little extra connection from your loved one while enjoying simple things outdoors like a bike ride or picnic.
Libra (September 23-October 22) A light bulb moment early in the week gets you fired up to take a new direction at work. You may be ahead of the pack with this idea so don’t worry if it isn’t met with a standing ovation. But keep working on it-the time will come and you’ll ultimately get the credit. Spend as much time outdoors as you can this week to keep your head clear and your body moving.
Scorpio (October 23-November 21) Whatever you do for work, it’s time to step up and show your leadership skills. Many Scorpios prefer to work in the shadows by themselves, in a dark office in the corner and only those who are in your “secret list” can interact with you. But this week with Leo lighting up your 10th house of career achievements, you’ll have to put yourself out there to grab an opportunity. You’ll get all bitter if you don’t take the chance.
Sagittarius (November 22-December 21) Sign up for classes or events near you or start up a book club or similar gathering. This is a great week for you to network with people you don’t normally encounter in your neighborhood. Invite the weirdos and get to know them better. Or maybe you’re the weirdo they need to learn more about.
Capricorn (December 22-January 19) You’ll be looking at new systems, processes and technology that will streamline your life. Research will give you the best price options but ask for help if you’re not tech savvy. Find a friend (or your kids) to walk you through everything you need to know. This is not a time to stubbornly go it alone-you want to make things easier, not harder.
Aquarius (January 20-February 18) The Full Moon in your sign gives you extra energy to mix and mingle with a ton of very interesting humans! Someone may be picking up some mixed messages from you. While you can’t be responsible for what others think, you can be intentional and direct to the best of your ability.
Pisces (February 19-March 20) Small things can become major issues if you let them. But remember, you’re in control of your reactions so choose your response carefully. The Full Moon may be highlighting a relationship that just needs a little space to breathe, but may not need to be completely severed.
